Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a day-long visit to Gujarat visited Junagadh. He announced 13 development projects for the city. The prime minister also attended multiple events throughout the day.
PM Modi inaugurated development projects including a Government Civil Hospital, 13 projects of Junagadh Municipal Corporation, and a milk processing plant in Junagadh. The hospital has been built by the state government at the cost of Rs 249 crore.
“Today I could see the happiness on the faces of those who have been given their own homes,” PM Modi said while addressing a gathering in Junagadh.
He ended his speech at Junagadh with greetings for the festival of Rakshabandhan in advance.
From Junagadh, PM Modi will fly to Gandhinagar and preside over the convocation of Gujarat Forensic Sciences University. He will fly back to Delhi from Ahmedabad late on Thursday evening.
