Some people of social activist Swami Agnivesh who reached Ranchi Jharkhand beat up. Their clothes were also torn. It is alleged that behind the incident, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists are hand in hand. According to media reports Swami Agnivesh reached the pakud of Jharkhand.
According to the information received, Agnivesh was to participate in a program held in Paakud on Tuesday. Before this, some people thrashed him outside his hotel. Not only did they tear up their clothes. Swami Agnivesh alleged that members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and ABVP attacked them.
Agnivesh said, “As soon as I came out of the venue, Youth Front and ABVP activists attacked me without any reason. He alleged that I am speaking against the Hindus. He said, ‘I used to think that Jharkhand is a peaceful state but after this incident my views have changed.’
In front of the video, the crowd is reportedly beaten by social activists and their supporters. On inquiring about the incident, Superintendent of Police Shailendra Prasad Bernwal said that he did not have any information about Agnivesh’s program in the district. Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Kumar Singh said that the culprits will not be spared.
It is noteworthy that some organizations had been annoyed with their statement about Sanatan religion some time ago. After this, activists of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha were protesting against Agnivesh’s Ranchi visit.
Let me tell you that this incident happened when the Supreme Court condemned the events of mobs lingering across the country on Tuesday itself. Chief Justice Deepak Mishra had said while commenting that no one can take any law in his own hands or make laws for himself.
