After taking oath like Pakistan, CM BS Yeddyurappa said, “I congratulate people for holding the third term for the post of Chief Minister. I am sorry that the Congress and JDS have formed an unholy coalition. ” He said that he wants to support all the 224 MLAs. At the same time he also said that he is sure that the Karnataka legislators will vote according to their discretion.
During the press conference, Yeddyurappa also said that though he has got 15 days to prove the majority, he will prove a majority before that and after this the program will be expanded by the cabinet expedition.
75-year-old Yeddyurappa, who has a strong influence in the Lingayat community, became the Chief Minister of the state for the second time. He was presented as a ‘rath bandhu’ by the farmers’ friends in the assembly elections. Before leaving for the Raj Bhavan, Yeddyurappa visited the Radhakrishna temple. Yeddyurappa was accompanied by Union Minister DV Sadanand Gowda and Prakash Javadekar and BJP General Secretary P Murlidhar Rao, along with his son B R Raghavendra and B V Vijendra.
