The diesel bus started with a water bus and its trial was also started. Explain that scientists in the country have prepared the first bus running from hydrogen. Its long trials have also been started. It has been developed at the Research and Development Center of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) located in Faridabad. First will be played here …
According to the IOC, now its long-term trials will be conducted for nearly two years so that its durability and efficiency can be assessed. After this, its commercial direction will be decided based on success.
During the trial it will be run from center to Sector 13 in Faridabad, to other centers of IOC located in Dwarka in Delhi. This distance is about 52 kilometers.
Hydrogen filling stations are maintained at both the IOC centers.
In addition to Tata Motors, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) have partial economic cooperation in preparing this hydrogen fuel bus.
Fuel is made from water
According to scientists, the water is made up of two atom hydrogen and oxygen. Scientists separate the two with ‘Electro lysis’ technology in the lab.
After this, hydrogen is stored in the cylinder. Hydrogen Filling Station then gets hydrogen in the bus through these cylinders.
