Samajwadi Party (SP) Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Agarwal has quit the party and has taken the BJP ‘s favor. By reaching the BJP headquarters in Delhi, the King has formally accepted the membership of the BJP. Recently, Jaya Bachchan was upset with the King’s Party for the Rajya Sabha.
Let the SP declare Jaya Bachchan a Rajya Sabha candidate from Uttar Pradesh bypassing Agarwal’s claim. The SP has 47 MLAs in UP and it is in a position to send only one candidate to the Rajya Sabha. In BJP headquarters in Delhi, Naresh Aggarwal got the party’s membership in the presence of union minister Piyush Goyal and spokesperson related Patra.
After joining BJP, Naresh Aggarwal openly expressed his displeasure with Jaya Bachchan. Naresh said, ‘The person who worked in the films was given my status, our ticket was cut in his name. I did not understand it too well. I did not come on any condition in BJP. There is no demand for a Rajya Sabha ticket. ‘
According to Agarwal, angered by cuts SP ticket had approached the BJP’s top leadership and went to get his party to join the green signal from the high command. Agarwal, who lived in Hardoi district of UP, became MLA on Congress ticket in 1980. Later, he had reached the SP through several other parties. In 1997, when Kalyan Singh’s government was to get confidence vote in UP, many Congress MLAs, including Naresh Agarwal, formed a new party named Democratic Congress.
