Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal government is now stuck in a new controversy. It is alleged that the Chief Minister’s residence has been mauled with the Chief Secretary of the state, Anshu Prakash. However, CM Kejriwal’s office has clearly denied any such incident. Chief Secretary accused the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs of slapping and using abusive language. All this happened in the presence of CM, due to which the Delhi Government is also facing strong opposition from the Opposition. Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken has demanded apology from Kejriwal. While opposing the incident, the Delhi-based IAS has announced to go on strike.
However, after this incident, the AAP has cleared the allegations. Issuing a statement, the AAP said that the 2.5 lakh families of Delhi could not get the ration because they were not connected to the ration card. Due to this, people are under tremendous pressure on the MLAs of those areas. This was the meeting of MLAs at CM’s house. During this time Chief Secretariat refused to answer the questions saying it was accountable to the legislators and the CM but not to the Lt Governor.
The AAP alleged that inverted Chief Secretaries used abusive language against some legislators and went from there without answering the questions. The party alleged that Chief Secretaries are accusing this on behalf of the BJP. BJP is doing lower level politics. Meanwhile, AAP MLA has lodged a complaint against Chief Secretariat. In Sangam Vihar police station, MLA Prakash Jarwal has lodged a complaint against the Chief Secretary for using the caste words.
After this incident, the opposition has also taken an aggressive approach against the Kejriwal government. Delhi Congress President Maken alleged that the AAP government was a waste. It is unfortunate that the chief secretary in front of CM be beaten by the legislators. It is a way of distracting people from governmental failures. AAP does not come to rule and this government is completely unsuccessful. After this incident, BJP has been demanding President’s rule in the capital after giving Kejriwal government anarchy.
Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari tweeted this incident shameful and termed it as urban Naxalism. Delhi Legislative Assembly leader Opposition Vijender Gupta tweeted on this incident that it reflects the attitude of Chief Minister Kejriwal’s dictator attitude. At 12 a.m. the chief secretary is called and he is mistreated.
The IAS organization is meeting on this matter and complained to LG about this. The IAS Association has sought the arrest of accused legislators. The officials have gone on strike till the action is taken. The Association alleges that there is a climate of constitutional crisis in Delhi. At the same time, Chief Secretaries are preparing to file police cases in this case. There are reports that before entering the case, the Chief Secretariat has come to meet LG to meet him for approval and consultation.
Meanwhile, party MLA Amanatullah is also telling the allegations of slapping as baseless and wrong. They say that Chief Secretariat is lying. In a conversation on the phone from the News Channel Times Now, he challenged the police, saying, ‘Prove that I beat up with the Chief Secretary.’
